Addison had (doctor's orders) to receive her 8 week shots before we were allowed to travel by plane home to VA so CJ and I prepared ourselves for what was sure to be a rough day and night for Addison. We took her in on a Friday to get 4 shots and an oral "shot".
The wonderful nurse did all 4 shots in under 30 seconds and Addison screamed once, for what we can only imagine as shock, and once picked up, kissed and rocked a few seconds, she was JUST FINE!
She did wonderful throughout the whole afternoon and evening and thus began the 9-10+ hours of sleep a night. H-O-N-E-S-T-L-Y! It seemed that once she got her 8 week old shots, she has gone down between 8 -8:30pm every night and gotten up around 5:30-6am each morning (with some mornings going back to sleep after her bottle!) Sweet deal we have going on! :)
